Reserve parachute training course
Registration
- By registering, the participant confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS).
- The contract is concluded at the moment the participant makes a firm booking for the course. If certain provisions of these GTCS are found to be partially or entirely invalid or unenforceable, the validity and effectiveness of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
- LRegistration is validated and the participant’s place is reserved upon receipt of payment.
- Minor participants or participants under guardianship require authorization from a person holding parental authority or a legal representative. If such a person is absent at the time the course takes place, a written consent declaration must be presented to the pilot in advance.
Cancellation by the Provider
- The date of a course may be changed or cancelled when weather conditions or organizational reasons require it. The final decision regarding whether or not the course can take place rests exclusively with the provider.
- A modification or cancellation of the course does not automatically entitle the participant to a refund.
- In the event of a course modification or cancellation, the provider will endeavor to offer a replacement date. The procedure to follow will be discussed on a case-by-case basis.
Cancellation by the Participant
- In the event of cancellation by the participant (except in cases of force majeure discussed individually), the course is non-refundable.
- When the participant cancels their participation in the course, the following rules apply:
- If the cancellation is made more than 10 days before the scheduled date, the participant may re-register for a later date free of charge.
- If the cancellation is made 10 days or fewer before the scheduled date, the registration fee remains due and re-registration for another course will be charged.
Risks and Disclaimer of Liability
- The participant acknowledges that part of this reserve parachute training course takes place on a zip line in a forest environment and is not without risks, both for the person and the equipment.
- The participant certifies that they do not suffer from any health problems (psychological or physical) that could affect the conduct and safety of the course.
- The provider declines all responsibility for damage to equipment belonging to the participant.
- The provider declines all responsibility for damages resulting from failure to follow the instructions given by the instructors.
Insurance
The participant confirms that they are insured against the consequences of an accident. Accident insurance is not covered by the provider.Disputes
In the event of any dispute arising from the course, participants from the USA and Canada explicitly waive any jurisdiction in the USA or Canada and acknowledge that the provider will not accept jurisdiction in the USA or Canada.Only the ordinary courts at the provider’s registered office in Switzerland shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the contract concluded for the course. Only Swiss law shall apply.
